Lucy West
09/19/1999 - 12/09/2016Lucy lived longer than most and has been through so many of our lives adventures it will be hard without her here, however we know she is in a better place. What I would give to cuddle her one last time and kiss her little wet nose. We will cherish the memories of her chasing after bigger dogs, sleeping curled up next to us every night and begging for food at every opportunity. Lucy, my girl that was the toughest decision we have ever had to make but it was the right decision. You went so peacefully resting on my shoulder after eating a big steak. Not a day will go by that I won't want to reach for you and cuddle, but it will get less painful with time. We love you and will think about you constantly my little girl.Amanda and Abbie WestOverland park, KansasDecember 11, 2016

Lucy was a lovely girl, and she was SO lucky to have you as her people. You gave her a wonderful life.Suzanne Cosentino - December 15, 2016
Luce, was the sweetest girl ever! She's been around since the girls were rocking bowl haircuts... 😊 We used to snuggle on the couch together in college and watch scary movies! She was little, but fierce. She loved running after the big dogs and scaring them, especially Bear. I will miss her so much and she was so greatly loved! Love you, Lucy girl!Kelci Gillenwater - December 12, 2016
Lucy was a big part of our lives for 17 years. She went to college and nursing school with her step sister Rosie. She lived in Wichita, Lawrence and Kansas City and traveled to other places too with her sister Irma. She was more worldly than some people.Bill,Karen and Belle West - December 12, 2016
