As hard as it was to make the decision to let our sweet Sadie girl go, Dr. Carling made sure to show so much compassion and empathy during this time. She walked us through each and every step and made sure to assure us that we were doing what was best. Our girl was older and had some health issues that unfortunately could not be healed. We gave her the best life and wanted to make sure she had a peaceful and loving journey to the rainbow bridge. Being at home in her safe place and surrounded by her family was extremely important to us. Thank you for giving her and us the opportunity to be together and making sure she was at peace. When it was time to say goodbye to our Charlie, we called on Lap of Love. Dr. Counts helped him pass with love and dignity, and was so kind, generous, and loving with us humans as well. We were not sure what to expect during such a difficult moment, but she completely embraces her role as a guide for the family through the process. We are lucky to have had her with us in such a difficult moment.
Dr. Green and Lap of Love supported us through the difficult end-of-life decision with our 10 year old Great Dane, Sydney. From the reviewing of services offered, including cremation, to the home visit on the day, we couldn't have been more pleased. The home visit was handled with little stress on Sydney's part, which limited the stress on our part! The way it was managed allowed us to say goodbye to our dear friend without stressing him out travelling. As a pet owner, these decisions are stressful enough.
