Our little girl wasn't just another appointment to be checked off the schedule. We felt Dr. Martinek shared our sense that we were together in a sacred moment in time. I want to extend my deepest gratitude to Dr. Brownell and the entire Lap of Love team for the compassion and care they showed during one of the most difficult moments of my life. Saying goodbye to my beloved dog, Prince, after 14 wonderful years was incredibly painful, but Dr. Brownell made the experience as peaceful and comforting as it could possibly be. From the moment she arrived, she was kind, gentle, patient, and incredibly thoughtful. She said all the right things at exactly the right time and walked me through every step of the process with care and understanding. She eased my worries and helped me feel confident that I was making the most loving decision for my sweet boy. Prince meant the world to me, and I will always be grateful that his final moments were handled with such dignity, compassion, and respect. I also want to thank all of the veterinarians who helped care for Prince throughout his life. Your dedication and kindness allowed him to live a long, happy, and well-loved life.
